Photographers have their own language. Posed newborn photography means that the baby is posed by the photographer, baby must be fully asleep for these. It takes specialized training to pose new babies safely. And not all babies want to do all poses. They should never be forced into a pose. Typically, babies under 3 weeks do best with poses as they are still curly. Some "older" new babies, under 2 months will do poses but not all poses and not all babies. Because baby must be asleep, this session type takes the longest. My posed newborn sessions also include wrapped image, my lifestyle + posed session does include images of the family, parents and siblings but there will be more images of baby alone.  Wraps, headbands, bonnets, props are all provided by me.
